Project Description

The Australian Government has committed $3.57 million under Round Two of the program over 2010-11 and 2011-12 for one new and one upgraded decoupling bay; seven new and eleven upgraded rest areas; and installation of four floodway warning systems.

Benefits

The projects will improve productivity in Western Australia by improving safety and increasing capacity both on and off the National Network.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $3.57 million to these projects, in partnership with the Western Australia Government.

Timetable

Work is expected to commence in early 2011 and be completed in mid 2012.
